Mickey Moone is a Canadian multi instrumentalist singer song writer. His leather jacket storytelling creates charming melodies and irresistible hooks. Moone's unique blend of gritty and clean vocals, wildly enchants big dreaming broken hearts everywhere. His delivery of tight rock 'n' roll tunes can be credited to some of the greats like The Buzzcocks, The Clash, The Hard Ons, Hot Water Music Social Distortion, Thrush Hermit and Lucero.
Moone's assorted performance styles from solo to full band arrangements have given him access to an array of diverse venues and crowds. Easily described as folk punk, Moone can shift gears from roots americana/country to face peeling punk rock entertaining at various festivals, while opening locally and abroad for acts like K-OS, Yukon Blonde, The Creepshow, The Hellbound Hepcats, and Swerve Driver.
Mickey Moone has received several awards and nominations for his self produced work including: Best Music Video (Mysticon, U.S.A.) for his single “In The Light” and Best Independent Music Video (Dropout, Canada) for his single "Perspective".
Moone can be heard live along with the support of his rhythm section: Murder (Antoine Pacitto - Bass, Matt Williams - Drums) and occasionally the spectacle of his one man band, half-man, half-octopus: The Rattla!
