Mickey Moone’s original music dances on the foundation of early folk, americana. Every song he writes comes from the sweet melodies created with his acoustic guitar, Catriona MacColl. His best friend, and therapist. When the opportunity is given to share his music in it's most natural state, Moone serenades with porch signalling anthems that feel both nostalgic and immediate.

Coffee shops, flea markets, and traditional pubs, Moone’s intentions are clear - deliver the music anywhere. He adapts to each unique environment with a catalogue of material giving him access to alternative spaces and time slots.

Mickey Moone’s live performance in any variation is immersive, engaging, and unforgettable. His writing feels lived-in, like journal entries scribbled after a long shift and expensive night.
If you like your songs with a scrappy heart, a good hook and lyrics that bruise before they grin, Mickey Moone has those tunes! He is an award winning multi instrumentalist who will take any oppurtunity to deliver his poetry naked with Catriona MacColl.
